Collaborative living

A story from the ASSETS project

The ASSETS project (Advancements in Social Economy through Technological Solutions) was designed to support social economy organizations and cooperatives in developing innovative tools for assessing and reporting social impact, thereby highlighting the contribution these entities make to the communities and regions where they operate.

In this video, we showcase a collaborative housing initiative promoted by Cooperativa Sole—supported by the research team at the Competence Center for Cooperative Management—which has created an environment where neighborly relations, mutual aid, and active participation contribute daily to the creation of social value. Footage of a community lunch and neighborhood life offers a tangible illustration of how collaborative practices can foster inclusion, social cohesion, and collective well-being.

To facilitate the self-assessment of social impact generated by initiatives like this one, the project developed the ASSETScope app, available for both iOS and Android. This tool enables organizations to gather information, reflect on the changes brought about by their activities, and generate evidence useful for communication, reporting, and continuous improvement.
