Why work with a specialist filmmaker?
Scientific communication requires more than technical filmmaking.
It requires the ability to listen to specialists, understand unfamiliar subjects quickly and identify the essential idea inside a large amount of information.
My background combines technical education, filmmaking and documentary storytelling.
I am comfortable working in research environments and talking to people about highly specialised subjects — while always keeping the final audience in mind.
I don’t just film what happens in a laboratory. I find the story within it.
I work in English, Italian, German and French, making it possible to conduct interviews and production work directly with international research teams and create films for multilingual audiences.
Subtitles and language versions can also be produced as part of the project.
